You can upload a file to your community media page where it will be available to other users to download.Your file will need to contain a file extension (ex: MyDocument.doc) in order to identify the type of file and upload it. Different upload sections allow for different types of file uploads. Typical types are Word - doc, docx, Excel - xlx, xlsx, PowerPoint - ppt, pptx, Adobe Acrobat - pdf.
Procedure
- Navigate to the media gallery to which you want to upload the file.
- Click Upload.
The Upload File page displays.
- Click Specify File/URL. The Upload File modal window displays.
- Browse from a file or multiple files or type the URL for the file you want to upload.
- Click Save to close the modal window.
- Complete the remaining media file information, such the name, description, and tag.
- Click Save.
